BEHIND THE LYRICS

Adam: "It's almost midnight and I'm all by myself, sitting in my living room in Greenville, MS. My wife and daughter were 6 hours away in Mobile, AL. Well, I suppose this isn't very healthy, but I was pretty lonely. And I get that way, a lot. To add to it, my grandmother had just lost my grandfather to many, many years of being sick. And for so long, as far back as I can remember, she's spent winter with him. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. She had him at her side for so long. And now what? So I put myself in her shoes, already lonely from missing my wife and daughter. And in one session, I wrote and recorded 'Winter'. My favorite song I've done. Means a lot."
